Ruinart is the words oldest champagne house and was established in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart. It is now owned by parent company LVMH (Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton).
Ruinart’s cellars are amongst the largest in the champagne region and like most, are the products of ancient chalk mining. The cellars extend 38 metres below the ground and the chalk helps to keep the cellars at a constant temperature. The Ruinart bottle to this day is still inspired by the first champagne bottles of the 18th Century.
Defining its commitment to excellence and luxury, this will make the perfect gift for any occasion. It has also been known that Ruinart was served at Royal Weddings! With that in mind, a bottle of Ruinart is sure to impress!
