For this limited edition Ghost and Rare, A hidden treasure from distilleries’ long closed Glenury Royal takes centre stage in the high malt content, with additional malts from Glenkinchie, Glenlossie, Pittyvaich and Glen Elgin, which have been married with old grain whiskies from Cambus and Carsebridge.
The Glenury Royal distillery was closed in 1983, so those particular casks at the heart of this Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare edition must have been at least 35 years old.
